Central Texas Weddings have been interesting to say the least! I’ve enjoyed meeting so many people! There are so many fantastic people out there! Hondo blew me away by extensively thanking each person as they walked down the aisle. They were so gracious and caring. Let’s get back to the interesting comment… Central Texas weather… crazy!!! I’ve photographed weddings during the major floods, record breaking heat, and (much like this wedding) freezing temperatures! BRRRRRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrRRRRRRrrrrr. I’m getting the chills just writing about it.
Couples portraits on their wedding day are some of the most important photos of the day. My brides and grooms agree wholeheartedly but things happen and that 30 minutes sometimes turns into 5 minutes. 5 minutes is in no way ideal but I can’t imagine skipping over these majorly important photos. This wedding we had plenty of portrait time, unfortunately it was freezing and the wind was cutting like a knife! However, I convinced them to give me just five minutes on the edge of a cornfield so I could bedeck my hands with some bridal wedding bracelets before taking the photographs. They were troupers and they don’t look cold in any of their photos! That’s skill, y’all! LOL There are just a few of their portraits in this blog. I was so glad they made 5 minutes for their photos and now they have tons of photos of them together on their wedding day.
